Rumors of UFO sightings in Area 51 have been circulated and disputed for years. But now, they’re about to come alive and be proven true—forever.
Now don’t get us wrong. This isn’t going to be your average Hilton—this will literally be a huge, metal spaceship in the middle of Baker. From the outside, it will look exactly like a flying saucer. And on the inside, every inch of the hotel will be alien themed, from the neon-lit floors to the alien-inspired food. Walking through the hotel will be such an immersive experience that the second you step in, you’ll forget you’re even on Earth.
In addition to standard amenities, the UFO Hotel will have a guided tour area, where families and space lovers alike can enjoy the surreal experience of being inside the UFO Hotel. It will feature 31 uniquely themed rooms, each inspired by a different element of space travel. These rooms won’t look anything like your image of a hotel room; they will be designed entirely as the interior of a spaceship, featuring functional elements like a weapons room or a transporter room. One room might feature an alien hologram sleeping above you, whereas another could have a giant wormhole or a view into outer space on the wall. In essence, as you can see in this trailer, the UFO Hotel can be described in only one word: mesmerizing.
What I love most about this project is that unlike most other hotels out there, you get so much more than a mere bed and room. Staying at the UFO Hotel itself will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a place that any visitor, whether they’re a science fiction lover, a family, or just someone who likes stunning architecture, will marvel at and drool over. Moreover, the UFO Hotel is so much more than a mere hotel. It has the perfect facilities to hold concerts, performances, parties, weddings, and even to build other structures that are out of this world.
Luis Ramallo, an Argentinian native, is the individual spearheading the entire vision of the alien spaceship. As the owner of the famous Alien Fresh Jerky store in Baker, he has had a fascination with extraterrestrial life and Baker for quite some time. Ramallo was actually inspired to create the hotel by his store because the customers absolutely loved the jerky and other alien-themed merchandise, but they didn’t want the story to end there.
And you have a chance to continue the story and be a part of it! Just imagine being able to say you were the first human to stay in one of the 31 UFO Hotel rooms, even having an area of the hotel named after you, or having a signed blueprint of the hotel. With the rewards in the Kickstarter campaign, you’ll have bragging rights forever once the UFO Hotel is actually built.
The Kickstarter campaign is created by IgniteCFP, an experienced crowdfunding agency located in Irvine, CA, and will go live May 18. So check out the campaign and grab a reward for yourself or for a fellow space nerds!
